Wilson is Vice President, Director of Client and Community Relations for The PNC Financial Services Group. In his role, he manages the Office of the President – which serves as central hub for all market initiatives including line of business activities, sponsorships, philanthropy, sales meetings, community events and other marketing and branding programs. Other responsibilities include budget management and financial coordinator for the Regional President’s cost center, and liaison to outstate Michigan markets.
Previously, Wilson was vice president, marketing manager for National City in Southeast Michigan. In this position, he oversaw and implemented all integrated marketing efforts for the bank throughout the Southeast Michigan market. Prior to joining National City Bank, Wilson was managing partner of Wilson PR, a joint-venture strategic public relations and marketing firm that represented top Detroit-area companies and institutions.
Shaun Wilson holds a bachelors degree in Public Relations from Wayne State University. He is a state appointed board member on the Michigan Economic Development Corporation – Michigan Strategic Fund; Trustee/Board Member for the Music Hall Center for the Performing Arts, board member on the Detroit Parent Network, Voices for Michigan’s Children and Mariners Inn. Wilson was also named to Crain’s Detroit Business 40 under 40 in 2001. He served eight years in the U.S. Marines.
