Sarit Si has a diverse work experience in the field of data engineering and analysis. They started their career as a Senior Systems Engineer at Infosys Ltd., where they provided support in client management and led a team of 3 members in IBM Cognos BI report development. They also interacted directly with clients for requirements gathering and played a role in program operations continuous improvement.

After Infosys Ltd., Sarit worked as a Data Analyst Intern at Splash Media Group, LLC, where they designed and implemented a data flow model, automated data extraction from multiple sources, and created visualizations to meet client needs. They also integrated the internal payroll accounting system with DOMO for payroll and project expenditure trend analysis.

Following their internship, Sarit joined V2Solutions as a Data Engineer, where they provided support to the content team in data governance activities, created Tableau dashboards for analysis, and researched data sources compatible with business requirements.

Currently, Sarit is working as a Data Engineer at Spherex. In this role, they are spearheading a project to build infrastructure for microservice containerization using Docker and deploying them on AWS EC2. They are also responsible for modeling scalable data storage services, designing and building data flow pipelines using ETL tools, and orchestrating them using Apache Airflow DAGs.

Throughout their career, Sarit has demonstrated expertise in data engineering, data analysis, and visualization, contributing to the improvement of processes and the achievement of client objectives.

Sarit Si has a Master's Degree in Information Technology Management from The University of Texas at Dallas, which was obtained from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, Sarit Si completed a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Applied Electronics & Instrumentation from the Institute of Technical Education and Research, during the period of 2006 to 2010.

In addition to the academic degrees, Sarit Si also holds various certifications. These certifications include: DAG Authoring for Apache Airflow from Astronomer (obtained in August 2021), SAS Certified Statistical Business Analyst Using SAS 9: Regression and Modeling from SAS (obtained in October 2015), SAS-UTD Graduate Certificate in Data Mining and Business Intelligence from the University of Texas at Dallas (obtained in May 2015), IBM Certified Designer - Cognos 10 BI Reports from IBM (obtained in November 2013), CKAD: Certified Kubernetes Application Developer from The Linux Foundation (expected to be obtained in April 2023), Tableau Desktop Qualified Associate from Tableau Software (obtained in December 2017), and American Red Cross Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED from the American Red Cross (obtained in February 2015).
