Alain Chantal has a diverse work history in the scientific and laboratory equipment industry. Alain began their career in 1994 with Corporation Scientific Claisse Inc, where they worked as an Industrial Designer and later took on roles in Quality Control and Purchase management. In 2002, they co-founded Katanax Inc, a laboratory equipment company focused on creating fusion instruments for analytical laboratories. Katanax was eventually sold to SPEX SamplePrep in 2007. Alain then worked as the General Manager of SPEX Europe, leading sales and distribution efforts in Europe for SPEX SamplePrep and Katanax instruments. In 2020, following the acquisition of SPEX Companies by Cole-Parmer, they became the Senior Global Product Manager for SPEX SamplePrep and Katanax instruments.
