Talia Oren has a diverse work experience. Talia worked as an Associate Director, Client and Community Engagement at Spence-Chapin Services to Families and Children since January 2020. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Outreach Manager, International & Domestic Adoption at the same organization from March 2019 to January 2020. Earlier at Spence-Chapin, they served as an Outreach Manager, both for International & Domestic Adoption from July 2017 to March 2019 and solely for International Adoption from December 2016 to July 2017.
Before their time at Spence-Chapin, Talia held the role of Senior Event Manager at Tammy Golson Events from May 2013 onwards. Talia also served as the Director of Program and Event Development at Lulu Family Community Center of Tel Aviv from December 2014 to June 2016. In addition, they gained experience as the Director of Scheduling in the Office of the Democratic Conference Leader at the New York State Senate from May 2010 to October 2014. Lastly, Talia worked as a Project Coordinator at the NYC Office of Mayor Bloomberg, Community Affairs Unit from November 2007 to May 2010.
Talia Oren completed their Master of Arts (MA) degree in International Child Development (in developing countries) at the University of Haifa from 2014 to 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Dual Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Sociocultural Anthropology and Spanish Language & Literature from Binghamton University between 2003 and 2008.
