Mauro Hassan Tanure has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Mauro Hassan has worked at various companies, including Speedbird Aero, EVA, GE Transportation, Fórmula Tesla, and PJ Consultoria.
At Speedbird Aero, they started as a Mechanical Engineer, where they designed and built the DLV-1 NEO prototype for drone delivery in Latin America. Mauro Hassan then became the Program Manager, responsible for developing and improving prototypes, as well as coordinating the technical team. Currently, they are the Head of Engineering, accountable for engineering programs and metrics, implementing new processes, and fostering a culture of discipline and excellence. Mauro Hassan has achieved significant milestones, such as the first airworthiness approval for night BVLOS operations in South America.
At EVA, Mauro worked as a Mechanical Engineering Intern, where they designed and assisted in the assembly of the first EVA V-Station prototype. Mauro Hassan later became the Project Manager for the V-Station project, responsible for developing and improving prototypes and coordinating the technical team.
At GE Transportation, Mauro worked as a System Engineering Intern, assisting the Program Manager in managing bills of materials, tracking engineering change requests, and exploring new technologies and market tendencies.
At Fórmula Tesla, Mauro held two roles. Mauro Hassan first worked as a Powertrain Engineer, where they designed and built the first Formula Tesla UFMG Powertrain within a tight timeframe and budget. Later, they became the Lead Mechanical Engineer, responsible for integrating various subsystems and coordinating the supply chain.
Before that, Mauro worked at PJ Consultoria as an Information Technology Manager, Project Analyst, and Information Technology Assistant. Mauro Hassan co-developed mechanical projects, managed internal systems, and provided IT support.

Mauro Hassan Tanure completed a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, from 2014 to 2019. In 2021, they pursued further education at RWTH Aachen University, completing an edX MicroMasters program titled "Managing Technology & Innovation: How to deal with disruptive change" in 2022. Tanure also obtained several additional certifications, including an edX Verified Certificate for Innovation and Creativity Management, an edX Verified Certificate for Customer-Centric Innovation, and a certificate in Onshape Fundamentals: Data Management, all in 2022. In 2020, they obtained a certificate in "3DEXPERIENCE - Collaborative Business Innovator" from Dassault Systèmes, and in 2019, they completed the "Desafio Design Your Thinking" program offered by EloGroup.
