Rebecca Murtaugh has over three decades of experience in education, currently serving as a Special Education Teacher and Transition Educator at SPEED S.E.J.A. District 802 since August 2008. Previous roles include a 1st grade teacher at St. Andrew the Apostle School from March 1989 to June 1994 and a Special Education Paraprofessional at SMS CAP NORTH from September 1983 to July 1986. Rebecca holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Organizational Leadership in Special Education from Grand Canyon University, as well as multiple Master's degrees, including one in Curriculum and Instruction with Applied Behavior Analysis Certification from Arizona State University and another in Special Education from Grand Canyon University. An undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and Teaching K-9 was earned at the University of Illinois Chicago.
