Waldek Maleska has held a variety of positions since 2000. From 2000 to 2003, they worked for Eurolines Polska on probation and occasional contracts. From 2003 to 2005, they worked for Eurobus as a Network Administrator and DTP. From 2005 to 2011, they worked for Motorola as a Senior Software Engineer, developing test tools and applications with C, C++, Python, and Linux. From 2011 to 2015, they worked for Motorola Solutions as a Software Configuration Manager and a Senior Software Engineer. From 2015 to 2018, they worked for Nokia as a Senior Build Engineer, dealing with tooling, CI/CD, build, release, and infrastructure automation. Finally, since 2018, they have been a Build Engineer for Speechmatics, troubleshooting and dealing with etc. in tooling, CI/CD, build, release, and infrastructure automation.

Waldek Maleska received a MSc in Databases, Systems, Networking, and Distributed Computing from The Silesian University of Technology between 1998 and 2003. Waldek also attended I LO. Waldek has obtained a Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHEL7) certification from Red Hat in September 2016, as well as an ECCN Classifier certification from MSI Trade Compliance.
