Liz Jaramillo

Speech Language Pathologist at Speech Pathology Services

Liz Jaramillo has extensive experience in the fields of public health and speech-language pathology. Currently serving as an ORISE fellow at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention since 2017, Liz also works as a speech-language pathologist at Speech Pathology Services, a position held since September 2010. Prior to these roles, Liz was an administrative assistant at the Lussier Community Education Center from 2008 to 2010. Academic credentials include a Master of Public Health in Global Health from Emory University, a Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders focusing on Bilingual Language Acquisition from Marquette University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Latin American Studies, and Spanish Literature from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Further studies include time abroad at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and Universidad San Francisco de Quito, focusing on Magazine Production, Chilean Literature, Political Theory, and Ecuadorian Literature, as well as a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
