Myra Rutland, DNP, FNP-C has a diverse work experience in the healthcare field. Myra is currently serving as the Program Director of Infectious Disease and Community Outreach at Spectrum Health Services, Inc. since July 2022. Myra Rutland obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Temple University. Myra then pursued their Bachelor of Arts degree in Nursing from Drexel University College of Nursing & Health Professions Division of Undergraduate Nursing. Myra also holds an Associates in Applied Science degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Community College of Philadelphia.
After their undergraduate studies, Myra Rutland enrolled at Temple University, where they completed their Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree in Family Nurse Practitioner. Myra successfully obtained their DNP in 2019.
In addition to their educational degrees, Myra Rutland has acquired several certifications. Myra is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), having obtained this certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) in August 2019. Myra is also a Certified Pediatric Nurse, which they achieved through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board in October 2011. Additionally, they have completed a certification in Teaching in Higher Education from Temple University College of Public Health in August 2018.
