Patrick Shoup has over four decades of work experience in various finance and accounting roles. Patrick started their career as a Transit Car Assembler at GE in 1973, and then served as a Second Class Petty Officer in the US Navy from 1974 to 1978, conducting air surveillance on surface and sub-surface vessels. After their military service, Shoup worked as a Business & Sales Manager at Erie Story Magazine from 1981 to 1984. Patrick then joined Better Baked Foods as the Supervisor of Financial & Cost Accounting from 1984 to 1986. Shoup's next position was at Spectrum Control, where they held roles as an Accounting Manager from 1986 to 1991, and later as the Corporate Controller from 1991 to 2011. In 2011, they joined API Technologies Corp. as the VP of Finance for North American Operations, overseeing internal accounting activities for multiple locations and leading a support staff of over 30.
Patrick Shoup earned their Bachelor's degree in Finance from Gannon University, which they attended from 1978 to 1981. Patrick continued their education at the same university, obtaining a Master's degree in Business Administration from 1983 to 1993.
