Annette Kelly has gained expertise in the field of education through their work experience. Annette started their career as a Principal at Wallace Academy in July 2001 and held this position until June 2005. Following this, they worked as a Special Education Teacher at Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools from August 2005 to November 2006. Annette then joined the Tennessee Department of Children's Services as a Principal in November 2006 and remained in this role until June 2010. Currently, they are serving as the School Director at Spectrum Academy, starting from July 2010.
Annette Kelly began their education at the University of Rio Grande and Rio Grande Community College from 1984 to 1987, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, with a focus on Secondary Education. Annette then continued their education at Marshall University from 1992 to 1995, where they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Special Education. After that, they attended Trevecca Nazarene University from 2005 to 2006, obtaining a Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership. Finally, from 2008 to 2011, Annette Kelly completed their Doctor of Education degree in Leadership and Professional Practices at Trevecca Nazarene University.
