Vidya Sagar has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Vidya started their career as a Software Engineer at Motorola Mobile Devices in 2008 and worked there for three years. In 2011, they joined Stevens Institute of Technology as a Research Assistant and continued in that role until 2013. During this time, they also worked as a Summer Intern at Dynamic Spectrum, LLC in 2013. In 2014, Vidya Sagar became a Visiting Researcher at the University of Pretoria and also served as a Summer Intern at Dynamic Spectrum, LLC. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a Senior Member of Technical Staff at Dynamic Spectrum LLC. During this time, they also pursued their doctoral degree and held positions as an Innovation & Entrepreneurship Doctoral Fellow and a Research Assistant at Stevens Institute of Technology from 2014 to 2016. In 2016, Vidya Sagar co-founded Spectronn and assumed the role of CTO & Co-founder, where they are currently employed.

Vidya Sagar received a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication from Bhagalpur Careers in 2006. From 2006 to 2008, Sagar pursued a Master's degree in Wireless Network from the International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore. Later, from 2011 to 2016, Sagar obtained a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology. Additionally, Sagar has acquired several certifications in the field of artificial intelligence and deep learning from LinkedIn, including "Building Deep Learning Applications with Keras 2.0", "Learning Splunk", "Artificial Intelligence Foundations: Thinking Machines", "AI Accountability Essential Training", and "Artificial Intelligence Foundations: Machine Learning".
