Eman Namati

Eman Namati has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Eman started their career in 1995 by co-founding Computernet International Pty. Ltd., a successful IT firm that grew to generate over $7 million in annual revenue. As the Founder/Technical Director, they played a crucial role in the company's growth and oversaw various operations.

In 2004, Namati joined Flinders University as a Graduate Research Assistant and later moved on to the University of Iowa as a Research Scientist. During their time at these institutions, they focused on developing innovative imaging devices and software that allowed for accurate correlation of non-invasive imaging modalities to ground truth histology.

Namati then joined Massachusetts General Hospital in 2009 as a Research Fellow, where they worked on the development of Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) and Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) scanning probes for pulmonary alveoli investigation.

In 2010, Namati transitioned to NinePoint Medical, Inc., initially serving as a Principal Scientist and then moving on to roles such as Director of Systems Engineering and Vice President of Research and Development. Finally, in 2018, they were appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the company. Eman'swork at NinePoint Medical, Inc. focused on driving the company's growth and overseeing various aspects of its operations.

Most recently, in 2020, Namati joined SpectraWAVE, Inc. as the Chief Executive Officer, where they continue to lead the company.

Eman Namati completed a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Medical Imaging and Biomedical Engineering from Flinders University from 2004 to 2008. Following that, from 2009 to 2010, they pursued a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Biomedical Optics at Harvard Medical School.
