Perry Robbins has a comprehensive work experience spanning over several companies. Perry started their career in 1986 at EF Johnson, where they designed VHF and UHF transceivers and developed various components. Perry then moved on to Hughes Network Systems, working on IS-136 TDMA cellular mobile handset design. After that, Perry joined Com Solutions as a senior RF engineer, where they wrote SBIR proposals and worked on contract engineering jobs. Perry also worked at Uniden as a senior RF engineer, leading a team in developing IS-136 cellular phones and working on other proposals. Perry later joined SpectraLink, where they played a significant role in developing the first 802.11 voice over WiFi portable phone. At Polycom, they served as a senior RF HW engineer, responsible for project management, schematic design, radio development, and testing. Currently, Perry is working at Spectralink Corporation as a Principal Engineer, overseeing the hardware architecture of Spectralink Versity handsets and collaborating closely with the project management teams. Throughout their career, Perry has gained expertise in HW design, testing, manufacturing, and compliance testing.

From 1976 to 1980, they attended MCHS, where they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study.
Next, from 1980 to 1984, they enrolled at Montana State University-Bozeman, majoring in Electrical Engineering. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
Finally, from 1984 to 1986, Perry continued their education at Montana State University-Bozeman and specialized in Electrical Engineering, earning a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE).
