J. Michael Penn has a diverse work experience with various companies. J. Michael started their career as an Assistant Manager at My Goods Market in 2012 and later became a Store Manager. In 2015, they worked as a Property Preservation Technician at ServiceLink Field Services, LLC, where they were responsible for maintaining the safety and security of vacant properties. From 2016 to 2018, they worked at CenturyLink as a VoIP Operations Technician II. J. Michael then joined CenturyLink Business in 2018 as a VoIP Operations Technician III until 2019. Currently, they are working as a QA Test Engineer at Spectralink Corporation.

J. Michael Penn attended Legacy High School from 2001 to 2004. After high school, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology from Metropolitan State University of Denver, which they completed from 2004 to 2009. Recently, from 2015 to 2016, J. Michael Penn studied at Colorado State University Global to obtain a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology.
