Michael Fang is a co-founder of Spectacular Labs, where expertise lies in the intersection of physics and machine learning, particularly in optical neural networks and quantum materials. Previous experience includes roles as a graduate student researcher and instructor at the University of California, Berkeley, focusing on physics education and research on infrared spectral mapping. Additional positions include research physicist in a stealth-mode startup and internships at Intel Corporation, where significant contributions were made to silicon photonics and AI algorithm implementation.
