Humberto Contasta, AAI, currently serves as Senior Vice President and Head of Treaty Latam & Caribbean at Specialty MGA UK since February 2024. Prior to this role, Humberto was Vice President at OdysseyRe from July 2022 to July 2023, focusing on Property & Casualty reinsurance contracts and enhancing relationships with cedents in the Caribbean. Humberto has extensive experience from TRANSRE, where roles included Assistant Vice President for Property Treaty Underwriting and Sr Underwriter Property Treaty, from July 2008 to July 2022, handling pricing, analysis, and management of treaties in Central America and the Caribbean. Earlier career positions include Underwriting Analyst and Broker/Underwriter at Regency Insurance Brokerage Services, with foundational experience in claims at Seguros Canaima. Humberto holds degrees from the Insurance Institute of America and Instituto Universitario de Seguros.
