Petra Colindres, M.A., RDN, CD, IBCLC has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Petra has worked as the Director of Operations at Specialty Dental Brands since 2022. Prior to this, they held positions such as Assistant/Adjunct Professor at Nova Southeastern University, where they developed curriculum and educated students on nutrition and business fundamentals. Petra also served as the Director of Nutrition and Family Services at the Seattle Indian Health Board, where they led teams and integrated support services to improve patient care outcomes. Petra Colindres, M.A., RDN, CD, IBCLC completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Graphic Design and Advertising from the University of Central Oklahoma from 2008 to 2010. Petra then pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, graduating between 2012 and 2014. Petra further expanded their professional credentials by obtaining additional certifications. In October 2014, they became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) through the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners® (IBLCE®). Simultaneously, they also achieved the Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification from the Commission On Dietetic Registr. Prior to these achievements, Petra obtained their Certified Personal Trainer certification from NASM in April 2011, as well as becoming a NCCPT-certified trainer through Gold's Gym in September 2012.
