Matthew Baker has a diverse work experience, starting in 2010 as a Student Receptionist at Mother Theresa Regional Catholic. Matthew held this role until 2015. In 2012, they also began working as a Construction Worker for Scott Baker Construction, their father's construction company, where they were responsible for various tasks such as painting, framing, electrical work, demolition, tiling, clean-up, and job site oversight. Matthew held this position until April 2017. In 2016, they worked as a Busser at Fat Salmon from September 2016 to January 2017. Since May 2017, they have been working at Specialty Answering Service, initially as a Sales Representative and currently as an Account Programmer.

Matthew Baker attended Temple University from 2016 to 2019 where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Advertising with a focus on Account Management. In 2015, they also attended West Chester University of Pennsylvania for a brief period, majoring in Business Administration, Management, and Operations, but did not complete a degree.
