Sherry Wheelock

President and CEO at Special Olympics Florida

Sherry Wheelock has over 20 years of experience working in various roles within the nonprofit and entertainment industries. Sherry is currently an Official Member of the Forbes Nonprofit Council, a position they have held since 2017. Prior to that, they served as the President/CEO of Special Olympics Florida starting from 2012. From 1996 to 2012, they worked at Universal Orlando Resort, where they held the position of Vice President, Treasurer.

Sherry Wheelock attended Baylor University from 1987 to 1992, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree with a major in Accounting. Additionally, they pursued studies in Accounting and Finance at Baylor University, although specific start and end years were not provided. Sherry also took part in the University of North Carolina's Kenan-Flagler Business School, focusing on the University of North Carolina Treasury Management Series.
