Jade Abrams

Special Olympics Health Education Intern at Special Olympics Florida

Jade Abrams currently serves as a WIC Senior Public Health Nutritionist Supervisor at Women, Infants and Children WIC, where responsibilities include providing nutrition education, ensuring client confidentiality, and leading problem-solving efforts among co-workers. Jade also holds a position as a Health Education Intern with Special Olympics Florida, focusing on health and wellness education for individuals with special needs. Previous experiences include completing didactic internships at Moffitt Cancer Center and Sun Terrace Rehabilitation Center, where Jade conducted nutrition-focused physical examinations and coordinated patient care. Additionally, Jade has experience as a seasonal and lead lifeguard and served as a summer camp counselor promoting health and wellness activities. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Dietetics and Clinical Nutrition Services from Keiser University and a Bachelor's degree in Public Health from the University of South Florida.
