Khanna has over 35 years experience in Engineering Design, manufacturing, marketing, techno commercial and overall management of industries and export businesses. He founded Special Cables in 1983 and has established other businesses including specialised air conditioners, export houses, technical consultancy etc. Khanna earned a B. Sc. Mechanical Engg., Gold Medalist, from National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, India and a Master of Technology in Systems and Management – Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi, India.
