Zapphire Hartley has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. They began their career as an Administrative Assistant at Foundations School of Discipleship in 2011 and worked in that role until 2014. From there, Zapphire joined Western Milling as a Human Resource Analyst for a short period in 2014. They then transitioned to Radiant Church, Inc where they served as the Finance and Human Resource Manager from 2014 to 2019. In 2019, Zapphire joined Family Services of Tulare County as a Fiscal Analyst and later became the Chief Financial Officer, a position they held until 2022. Currently, Zapphire is the Director of Finance at SPCC Society for the Protection & Care of Children, a role they started in March 2022.

Zapphire Hartley earned a Bachelor's degree in International Business from Vanguard University of Southern California between 2006 and 2010. Zapphire then pursued further education, currently working towards a Master's degree in International/Global Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary, starting in 2016. The completion date for their Master's degree is not specified.
