Rui Zheng is an accomplished leader in the field of biomedical engineering, currently serving as the Founder and CEO of Spatomics since July 2023. Prior to this role, Rui Zheng held significant positions at PhenomeX as Sr. VP of Hardware Development, and at IsoPlexis, progressing from Sr. VP of Innovation to VP of Innovation and Sr. Director of Systems Engineering, where notable achievements included leading the development of the award-winning IsoSpark system and the IsoCode chip. Rui Zheng's early career included roles at Thermo Fisher Scientific and Life Technologies, focusing on next-generation sequencing technologies. Rui Zheng obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from The University of Toledo.
