Mike Parkin is currently the Controller at Spartek. Prior to that, they were the Corporate Controller at Northern Engraving from October 2015 to December 2020. In that role, they oversaw and managed the accounting team responsible for collecting financial data and preparing financial reports in accordance with GAAP. Mike was also responsible for preparing and supporting independent audits, internal control policies and procedures, and internal financial analysis and reporting.

Some of Mike's key responsibilities include overseeing the daily accounting department activities, analyzing and reconciling general ledger accounts and information, preparing, analyzing and interpreting financial reports, overseeing the preparation of information for tax returns, assisting in budgeting and forecasting, and preparing and providing information for contract service negotiations such as insurance, payroll, audit, tax, and banking services. Mike also oversees property reporting, payment of property taxes, and Census reporting.

Mike is a highly experienced financial professional with a deep understanding of GAAP and financial reporting. Mike is a trusted advisor who can provide meaningful insights into a company's financial health.
