Steph Porter has a diverse background in public relations and marketing. Steph started their career as a Marketing and Communications Coordinator at Harley-Davidson Motor Company in 2011. Steph then gained experience as a Public Relations and Marketing Specialist for Rogers Communications, where they oversaw marketing initiatives and managed PR events for various clients, including the Toronto Blue Jays and Toronto FC.

In 2016, Steph joined Paradigm Public Relations as an Account Manager, leading client accounts and securing media coverage. Steph later became a Consultant within the same company.

Steph then worked as an External Communications Advisor at Canadian Tire Corporation from 2018 to 2021, where they managed influencer programs and created experiential activations for multiple brands, such as Party City and CANVAS.

From 2021 to 2023, Steph joined APEX Public Relations as a Director of Consumer, leading and managing TikTok and Instagram influencer programs for CPG clients. Steph also executed integrated marketing and communications campaigns for clients such as Walmart Canada and BenQ.

Currently, Steph is the PR and Social Media Engagement Lead at SpartanNash since May 2023.

Steph Porter obtained an Honours B.A. degree in Popular Culture from Brock University in the period between 2006 and 2010. In 2010 to 2011, they pursued a Graduate Certificate in Public Relations at Niagara College.
