Jessica Backman currently serves as the Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer at Spartanburg Housing, a position held since February 2023. Previously, Jessica spent nearly seven years at Converse University, where the role as Director of Student Activities and Civic Engagement involved managing a $250k budget, overseeing student programming for 650 undergraduates, and providing leadership training for student leaders. Additional positions at Converse included Resident Director and Assistant Registrar, focusing on student development, residential life, and graduation processes. Prior experience as an Administrative Intern at Isaacson, Miller involved providing administrative support and managing candidate records. Jessica holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Business Administration from Converse University.
