Charl Van Eeden has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Charl began their career in 2010 as a Customer Engineer at Umfolozi College, providing on-site support for network infrastructure and servers. In 2016, they started their own business, Shop80, where they built and maintained an e-commerce platform for selling computer hardware in the South African market. Charl also handled social media marketing and built relationships with distributors.

In the same year, Charl worked at IT Lab as a 2nd line support Engineer, delivering remote technical support and resolving customer incidents and queries. In 2018, they joined NZXT, Inc. as a Business Manager, responsible for managing account strategy, maintaining sales forecast, and implementing sales and marketing strategies to drive market penetration.

From 2020 to 2021, Charl worked as a Marketing Manager at MSI, where they followed sales and marketing direction, managed social media strategy, and linked sales and marketing activities to promote MSI notebook sales. Charl then joined DeepCool in 2021 as a Pan-European Product Marketing Manager, responsible for overall product strategy, go-to-market planning, and product launches in Europe.

Currently, in 2023, Charl Van Eeden is a Product Marketing Manager at Sparta Commodities.

Charl Van Eeden's education history begins with their enrollment at Richards Bay High School from 2005 to 2006, where they completed Grade 9. Subsequently, they attended Umfolozi College from 2007 to 2009, obtaining an NC(V) Level 4 degree in Computer Science. In 2013, they furthered their education at Durban University of Technology, where they studied CCNA Exploration in the field of Cisco until 2014. In the same year, they pursued a MCSA degree in Microsoft at Saryx. Finally, from 2015 to 2018, Charl Van Eeden attended MANCOSA and completed a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Information Technology Management.
