Michael Cameron currently serves as Assistant Principal and Assistant Athletic Director at NorthPointe Christian Schools since August 2023. With a solid educational background, including a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Grand Valley State University and a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Cornerstone University, Michael has accumulated extensive experience in the education sector. From August 2015, Michael worked as an Educator and Curriculum Specialist at Sparta Area Schools, where responsibilities included communication with stakeholders and utilizing data analysis to enhance student achievement. Prior to this, from June 2007 to June 2015, Michael held the position of Educator and Athletic Director at National Heritage Academies, focusing on lesson design rooted in the Common Core Curriculum and promoting higher-level thinking skills among students.
