Sanjiv Malhotra Ph.D has an extensive work experience spanning several industries and roles. Sanjiv is currently the Founder, CEO, and President of SPARKZ Inc. since September 2019. Sanjiv also holds the position of Founder and Managing Partner at PLUS INITIATIVE since February 2019.
Previously, Sanjiv worked at the U.S. Department of Energy as the Director of the Energy Investor Center from January 2016 to January 2019. Sanjiv was responsible for advancing private investment in energy technologies as part of the Clean Energy Investment Initiative. In addition, Sanjiv has held the role of Vice President of Sales, Business Development, and Marketing at DCH Technology from February 2002 to December 2003. Sanjiv was also the Vice President of Business Development at H Power Corp from 2000 to 2002.
Earlier in their career, Sanjiv worked at H Power Corp as the Director of West Coast Operations from 1999 to 2000 and as a Program Manager in Systems Engineering from 1997 to 1999. Sanjiv started their professional journey with Post-Doctoral Fellowships at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in 1996.
