Kars-Jan Giesen is currently serving as an Associate at SparkOptimus, Europe's leading digital strategy consultancy, since February 2023. Previous experience includes roles such as Student Research Assistant at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam from January 2022 to January 2023, and Associate Consultant Intern at OC&C Strategy Consultants in late 2021. Kars-Jan has also held positions as a Graduate Intern at Capgemini Invent, Treasurer at Oma's Soep, Chairperson of the Music and Theatre Association at RSC/RVSV, and as part of a winning team with Rotterdam100. Additional roles include Board Member of the Eurekaweek Committee and Real Estate Analyst at Moervast. Kars-Jan's academic background encompasses a Master of Laws in International Business Law from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, a Master of Science in Data Science & Marketing Analytics from Erasmus School of Economics, and a Bachelor in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Erasmus University Rotterdam, complemented by foreign exchange studies at Fudan University and a VWO-Gymnasium diploma from Stedelijk Gymnasium Nijmegen.
