Xiaolu Qian is a highly skilled researcher with extensive experience in molecular assays and quality control within the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Research Associate at Spark Therapeutics, Inc., since May 2023, Xiaolu has developed and optimized molecular assays and led pre-clinical sample analysis. Previously, as a Science Research Specialist D at the Gene Therapy Program at the University of Pennsylvania, responsibilities included conducting GLP and research QC assays for vector products. Xiaolu has also held positions at the University of Pennsylvania as a Science Research Specialist B, focusing on AAV vector manufacturing and QC trials. Earlier experience includes a Research Specialist role at the Shanghai Animal Disease Control Center and a Research Scientist position at AGCU ScienTech Incorporation. Xiaolu obtained a Master's degree in Veterinary Medicine and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Nanjing Agricultural University.
