Rebecca Manson Jones is an experienced artistic director and advocate for gender equality, currently serving as Artistic Director and CEO of Spare Tyre Theatre Company since September 2019. Additionally, Rebecca holds multiple roles within the Women's Equality Party UK, including GLA List Candidate and spokesperson for Equal Health Care. With a longstanding involvement in the arts, Rebecca has been Interim Director of Oily Cart Company since September 2010 and has played a significant role in their transition to new leadership. Rebecca also contributes as a trainer on safeguarding in the performing arts with the Independent Theatre Council, and as Co-Chair of the What Next? movement, which focuses on placing culture at the forefront of public discourse. Education includes a BA in Modern Languages from the University of Oxford.
