Mathias Koppenhöfer's work experience begins in 1982 at MAHLE, where they worked as a Production Worker and completed an apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic. Mathias then worked as a Werkzeugmacher at DAST GmbH & Co. KG from 1986-1987. After that, they joined Ingersoll Rand as an After Sales Technician from 1990-1991. From 1991-1993, they worked at LOT Laser Optronic Technologies as an R&D Project Engineer, focusing on inventing a Solid Laser System for cutting diamonds and servicing laser systems in the field.

In 1996, Koppenhöfer started working at Future Electronics, initially as an Account Executive and later as a Senior Account Executive, Account Executive Team Lead, Strategic Account Manager, and Strategic Account Manager & Deputy RSM.
