Thomas Whitt is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in mechanical engineering and tooling. Currently serving as Lead Mechanical Engineer at SpaceX since August 2020, Thomas has previously held positions as a Sr. Tooling Engineer and Mechanical Engineer II within the company. Prior experience includes Terex USA, LLC, where Thomas worked as a Manufacturing Engineer III, focusing on the development of large automated welding machines for aerial work platforms, and as Manufacturing Engineer II. At Magswitch Technology, Inc., Thomas served as Group New Technology Development Manager, emphasizing tool design and the development of magnetic technologies. Thomas holds a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado State University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Biology from Gonzaga University.
