Deepak Bansal is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in ASIC and FPGA engineering, currently serving as Sr. Director at SpaceX since June 2015, where responsibilities include Starlink Silicon Architecture Definition and the design and development of ASIC, SOC, and FPGA systems. Prior to SpaceX, Deepak held roles at Brocade as Senior Architect/Group Manager and as a Senior Engineer, contributing to architecture definition and engineering leadership from July 2001 to June 2015, following the acquisition of Foundry Networks, Inc. Deepak’s early career includes valuable experience at Lattice Semiconductor, Western Digital Corp., STMicroelectronics, and DCM Data Systems. Deepak earned an Executive MBA from the UW Foster School of Business and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Communications from the Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology.
