Brinson Chapp is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in avionics hardware reliability and manufacturing. Currently serving as Manager of Avionics Hardware Reliability at SpaceX since November 2019, Brinson oversees engineering teams focused on the reliability of Falcon, Dragon, and Starship avionics. Previous roles include Lead Manufacturing Engineer for avionics PCBA at SpaceX, where Brinson managed a team to enhance safety, reduce costs, and streamline processes. Earlier experience at BD involved process improvement engineering, where successful automation of testing processes and leadership in multi-site projects were key contributions. Brinson's career began as a Quality Engineer Intern and Manufacturing Engineering Intern, focusing on process validations and efficiency improvements. Brinson holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biological Systems Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
