Alex Ribner has worked in the engineering and technical fields since 2009. Alex began their career with Toyota as a Cost Planning Co-op and CAD Data Management Co-op in 2009, followed by an Engine Testing Co-op role in 2010. In 2013, they became a CAE Analyst at Toyota, and in 2016 they were promoted to Senior Engine System Design Engineer. In 2019, they joined SpaceWorks Enterprises, Inc. (SEI) as a Structures Technical Director, where they were responsible for leading the Structures Team and ensuring the quality of structural, mechanism, and thermal analyses. Alex was also the Chief Engineer for FuseBlox androgynous in-space docking and connection system. In the same year, they were promoted to Senior Structural Engineer, where they were responsible for design, analysis, and evaluation of the airframe for the X-60 hypersonic flight research platform.
Alex Ribner graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2011 and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2012.
