William Harris has had extensive work experience in the science and space industry. William began their career in 2000 at the California Science Center Foundation, where they held the position of Senior Vice President of Development and Marketing for 16 years until 2016. In 2016, they became the President and CEO of Space Center Houston, a role they currently hold.
William Harris attended Tufts University from 1977 to 1981, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology. During the same period, they also earned a Certificate in Community Health and the Delivery of Health Services from Tufts University.
