Scott Cebulski began their work experience in 2015 as an Information Technology and LAN Division Officer in the US Navy, where they supervised training and development of personnel for computer systems implementation. Scott then served as a Chemistry and Radiological Controls Officer, overseeing the training and performance of nuclear-trained chemists and maintaining responsibility for power plant chemistry and radioactive material. As a Watch Section Leader, they led and managed cross-functional teams and received recognition for their leadership during extreme scenarios. Scott also served as a Damage Control and Auxiliary Systems Officer, managing maintenance and repair of auxiliary systems and training a divisional team. Cebulski later became a Ship's Training and Qualification Officer, administering officer tactical training and qualification exams and ensuring the qualification of Commissioned Officers. As a Ship's Diving Officer, they managed the submarine's Rig for Dive program and maintained hull integrity during surfacing and diving evolutions. Their most recent role was at Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc., where they worked as a Systems Engineer and Program Manager, providing support to DoD programs, such as the SSBN OHIO replacement class and Navy's Strategic Systems Programs. Scott managed various programs and maintained a comprehensive risk register.
Scott Cebulski holds a Master of Engineering Management (MEM) degree from Duke University Pratt School of Engineering, which they completed from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they attended Nuclear Power School at the Naval Nuclear Power Training Command (NNPTC) from 2013 to 2014, where they obtained certification as a Nuclear Operator by the U.S. Department of Energy. Scott also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Systems Engineering from the United States Naval Academy, which they earned from 2009 to 2013. In addition to their formal education, Scott has obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in June 2020.
