Erick Hagstrom has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Erick is currently working as a DevSecOps Engineer at Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. Since joining in April 2021, they have been responsible for ensuring the security of software development and operations.
Prior to this, Erick worked as an Adjunct Professor at Christopher Newport University, starting in August 2017. In this role, they taught courses related to their field of expertise.
From February 2019 to February 2021, Erick served as an IT Architect 5 at Newport News Shipbuilding, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries. Furthermore, from May 2006 to March 2011, they worked as a Lead Information Systems Engineer at The MITRE Corporation, and from 2004 to 2006, they served as a Technical Marketing Engineer at Mentor Graphics Corp. Erick was also an IT Manager at Inobis from 2003 to 2004 and held the position of Director of Systems Engineering Management at WebMD from 2000 to 2002. Additionally, they served as Director of Software Architecture at Envoy Corporation from 1996 to 2002.
