Austin Hohmann currently serves as the Chief Commercial and Product Officer at SoyLei Innovations, LLC, since October 2023, while also working as an Entrepreneur since September 2023. Prior to these roles, Austin held the position of Product Manager at Colorbiotics from January 2022 to September 2023 and gained extensive experience at Iowa State University from October 2013 to January 2022, progressing through roles including Graduate Research Assistant, Engineer III/Pilot Plant Manager, Assistant Scientist/Pilot Plant Manager, and Assistant Scientist 1. Austin's earlier experience includes supervisory and coaching roles at Dubuque Dance and Gymnastics Club and a research assistant position at Iowa State University. Austin also worked as a Quality Engineer/Specialist at PMX Industries. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Iowa State University (2019-2021) and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the same institution (2009-2012), along with studies at Northeast Iowa Community College and Dubuque Senior High School.
