Abd-al-Karim Tayara has held various roles in different companies. In 2022, they joined Sovrn as a Merchant Development Manager. Prior to that, from April 2021 to July 2022, they worked at Skimlinks, first as a Merchant Account Executive and then as a Publisher Development Intern. In 2021, they also had an internship at Colt DCS, where they served as a Human Resources Associate.

Abd-al-Karim Tayara completed their secondary education at Wilmslow High School from 2012 to 2018. Abd-al-Karim then pursued higher education at SOAS University of London from 2018 to 2021, where they obtained a degree in History and Development Studies with a focus on Development Economics and International Development. Additionally, in December 2021, they obtained certification from the Change 100 Programme offered by Leonard Cheshire.
