David McKeen is an experienced insurance executive currently serving as Vice President of Underwriting and Risk Engineering at Sovereign Insurance since December 2020. Prior to this role, David spent over two decades at Chubb Insurance Company of Canada, where significant positions included Vice President and Western Canada Regional Manager for Chubb Commercial Insurance, as well as Assistant Vice President for Commercial and Energy Management. David's career began at The Guardian Insurance Company of Canada as an Underwriting & Claims Trainee, and continued at The Halifax Insurance Company as a Commercial Property & Casualty Underwriter. David holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McMaster University, earned between 1991 and 1995.
