Pedro Owsik has over 18 years of work experience, with their most recent position being at Sovereign Consulting Inc. as a Project Manager/Geologist. In this role, they are responsible for maintaining regulatory compliance at multiple sites in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware, and developing and implementing remediation strategies. Prior to that, Pedro worked at Kleinfelder as a Staff Professional II, where they led remedial investigations for multiple sites and served as the technical lead for various petroleum sites in Pennsylvania. Pedro also worked at Antea Group as a Project Manager, overseeing the development and execution of remedial project strategies in a New Jersey-based retail petroleum portfolio. Pedro's early career includes roles such as Guest Services Representative at Staybridge Suites, Undergraduate Research Assistant at West Chester University, Night Auditor at Nomads World Hotels, and roles in the US Navy as an Aviation Ordnanceman and Deck Seaman.

Pedro Owsik obtained their Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Studies with a Science Concentration from Delaware County Community College from 2006 to 2007. Following this, they attended West Chester University of Pennsylvania from 2009 to 2011, where they earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Geoscience. In addition to their academic qualifications, Pedro has also obtained various certifications throughout their career. In August 2011, they obtained the 40 HAZWOPER certification from OSHA. Pedro became a Licensed Site Remediation Professional through the New Jersey SRP Licensing Board in June 2022. Pedro earned their Professional Geologist designation from the State of Delaware in December 2019, the New York State Education Department in December 2020, and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in April 2017.
