Greg Shermeto is an experienced transportation planner currently serving as Transportation Planner II at the Southwestern Pennsylvania Commission since January 2020. In this role, responsibilities include managing the current Transportation Improvement Program (TIP), maintaining GIS mapping for regional projects, and reporting on project modifications from PennDOT Districts 10, 11, and 12. Prior to this position, Greg worked as a Zoning/Code Enforcement Officer for Moon Township, processing zoning applications and leading Zoning Hearing Board cases. Greg also gained experience as a Planner for Cumberland County/Fayetteville Area MPO, contributing to various transportation projects and state program updates. Other notable positions include Designer/Planner at Planning Solutions Corp and Environmental Design Blogger with Global Site Plans. Educational background includes a BA in Environmental Design from the University at Buffalo.
