Jose Roberto Nakid currently serves as the Chief People Officer and Associate Dean at Southwest University at El Paso, where responsibilities include developing the vision and goals for the College of Business, Culinary Institute, and Health Administration programs, as well as overseeing curriculum reviews. Prior to this role, Nakid was the College of Business Director, significantly improving student retention and enrollment. Experience extends to roles at the YWCA El Paso as Business Accounts Manager and Credit Counselor, where knowledge in business development and financial literacy was applied. Previous entrepreneurial experience includes owning Slice of Pie, providing medical supplies, and various positions in sales and business development at JP Morgan Chase N.A., Arsa Distributing, and EXPRESS. Nakid holds an M.B.A. in Finance and a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from The University of Texas at El Paso, along with international studies at IÉSEG School of Management.
