Jim Toy has a strong background in IT and has held various roles throughout their career. Jim started as a Systems Administrator at Frequency Engineering Labs in 1988. Jim then worked as a Programmer/Analyst at Capgemini from 1991 to 1992. From 1992 to 1995, they served as a Senior Network Administrator at Circle K Corporation.

In 1995, Jim joined Make-A-Wish America, where they held two positions: Director of Information Technology from 1995 to 2007 and Chief Information Officer from 2007 to 2014.

From 2015 to 2016, they worked as the Chief Information Officer at St. Mary's Food Bank Alliance. Jim then started their own consulting company called J. Toy Consulting in 2016, where they worked as an Information Technology Business Consultant until 2018.

Jim's most recent role is the Director of IT at SFE- Southwest Foodservice Excellence, where they have been working since July 2018.

Jim Toy obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from DeVry University. No specific start or end years were provided for their education at DeVry University.
