Scott Herbst is an experienced design and production professional with a diverse background in theatrical lighting, landscape design, and event management. Currently a Design Associate at Southview Design since March 2017, Scott has also contributed to Watercolour Designs as a designer since 2007. Extensive experience as a Production Manager for events such as the Mary Kay Career Conference and the PartyLite Candles North American Conference showcases strong logistics and stage management skills. Previous roles include Project Manager/Estimator at Hartman Companies and Assistant Grower at Wagner Greenhouses, Inc., along with a significant tenure as Production Manager at Troupe America Inc. and Lighting Designer for the Old Log Theater. Scott holds an Associate’s Degree in Landscape and Horticulture from Hennepin Technical College and a BA in Theatre Arts from the University of Minnesota.
