Austin Paxton is an Associate Attorney at SouthLaw, P.C. since August 2021. Previous experience includes serving as a Clinic Intern at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law Entrepreneurial Law & Practice Clinic, and a Law Clerk at Bratcher Law Firm, where duties involved drafting estate planning documents and researching bankruptcy cases. Earlier roles include Legal Investigator at Lowther Johnson Attorney's at Law, LLC, and District Intern for Congressman Earl L. "Buddy" Carter, where responsibilities included drafting constituent letters and analyzing economic reports. Austin also held leadership positions such as Chapter President of The Delta Chi Fraternity, Inc. and has experience as a student worker in various capacities during time at Missouri State University. Austin holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law and a bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Missouri State University.
